HISTORY

In 1906, Harold Robertson began applying an anti-corrosion coating to steel plates, a new process that soon found great success in the American construction industry. Expansive demand soon led to the construction of a larger facility in Pennsylvania. The growing success prompted the establishment of a plant for the European market, in Ellesmere Port, UK, in 1923. In 1961, Robertson Netherlands began selling, engineering and assembling steel plates shipped from England to the Netherlands. Since this time, the facades of many buildings, often prestige projects, have been fitted with the high-quality Robertson cladding by us.

Project Costes - Renovation storefront Costes Woman

On the corner of the Eindstraat and the Karnemelkstraat in Breda, an existing storefront was radically altered. EGM Architecten chose to give the facade an exclusive look and to adapt it to today's requirements.

By choosing a lightweight Stone Evolution natural stone façade element, a new façade with a concealed rainwater drain has been installed without too much structural intervention. A different layout was also created for the windows; the Stone Evolution façade elements are designed in such a way that they continue in a flowing line in the daylight edges. Stone Evolution natural stone elements are also available for interior and raised floor applications.
