Heating Service Installatietechniek was commissioned to carry out the complete S- and W-installations in the 12 newly built apartments and two penthouses, spread over two blocks, of the West End Residence. "This project is completely gasless and based on a WKO installation combined with heat pump systems, which provide cooling and heating. All apartments and penthouses are equipped with underfloor heating and a substantial boiler capacity for hot water. A balanced ventilation system with heat recovery provides a comfortable indoor climate. We also provide the rainwater drainage system and an extraction system for dirty air in the parking garage and storage rooms," Roeleveld explained. "We were closely involved in this project at an early stage, which allowed us to think along about the elaboration and integration of the installations. After all, good preparation is half the battle. That certainly also applies to this project, in which the apartments will be delivered as shells."
