Algeco strengthens its position at the top of the European market with the acquisition of Buko Real Estate, Buko Construction and stores in the Netherlands.

Algeco Group, one of the leading providers of modular construction space in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, today announced the acquisition of BUKO Verhuur and BUKO Bouw & Winkels in the Netherlands.

This transaction significantly strengthens Algeco's position on the Dutch market for modular buildings. Thus, the group now has more than 15,000 units in the Netherlands (before the acquisition: 3,000). BUKO Housing and BUKO Construction & Shops operate on 5 sites, employ 195 people and had a turnover of €60 million in 2018. Previously, the companies were owned by Scheybeeck.
