Trebbe boosts sales further

After a sharp increase in sales in 2017, sales also increased slightly in 2018. Total sales rose by nearly 2 % to €283 million. Trebbe did not turn over such high sales before.

Residential construction experienced slight growth. Sales rose by almost 2 % from € 202 million to € 206 million. Sales obtained from non-residential construction rose slightly to € 77 million. Trebbe achieved a return on total sales of 2.5% and has always remained profitable in the years behind us.

Staff

As a result of revenue growth, Trebbe's workforce also grew. At the end of 2018, Trebbe employed 341 people (328 FTE), an increase of nearly 10 % over 2018. This number will increase further in the coming year.

Look ahead 2019

After a sharp increase in sales in recent years, Trebbe is also facing 2019 positively. Hein Trebbe jr., director Trebbe Group: "The well-filled order book provides a solid foundation for 2019 and beyond." Trebbe expects to consolidate sales of BasisWonen and HoogWonen this year. The turnover of Utility & Specials will increase slightly as will the turnover of ExistingWonen. This will result in an increase in total sales in 2019. "Due to the fact that our Utiliteit & Specials knowledge center has or is taking a number of large works under construction this year, our turnover will increase further this year," explained Trebbe Jr. "As a result of price increases in materials and work to be subcontracted and the continued competitive price level, we expect the net result for 2019 to be similar to the result in 2018," Trebbe jr. looks ahead.

Focus and collaboration

To respond well to this overstrained market, Trebbe started 2018 from a new corporate structure. "We let go of the regional division and bring further focus by working even more from our knowledge centers. Each knowledge center is a bundling of knowledge and strength. This way of working responds to the strong focus that allows us, with the help of BIM, lean and chain cooperation, to offer a higher quality product to our clients more efficiently," Trebbe said. "We see great initiatives emerging prompted by the overstrained market. For example, we are increasingly entering into strategic long-term collaborations with clients. A fantastic development for Trebbe because we have long enjoyed working with other parties." At the end of 2018, we further expanded our area of operations and activities with the addition of the Giesbers companies as an independent sister company. The Giesbers companies consist of Giesbers with offices in Rotterdam and Wijchen and Kalliste Woningbouwontwikkeling from Nieuwegein.

Ambition; Making the Netherlands more beautiful, by creating healthy and sustainable living environments

Following the change in organizational structure, Trebbe implemented its tightened business plan in early 2019. From four spearheads namely; focus on service, sustainability, affordable building and steer on culture, Trebbe works together with its clients to make the Netherlands more beautiful by creating healthy and sustainable living environments.
