Quality of wood

Wood is a strong and versatile material. Especially hardwoods such as meranti and mahogany are used for the production of window frames because of their long life. In addition to hardwood, WEBO also uses softwood. A good example of this is Accoya® wood, which is modified with a high concentration of vinegar. Because of the modification, Accoya® rivals the best tropical hardwoods in longevity and performance.

In addition to its longevity and insulating properties, wood is a low-maintenance material.

Sustainable and circular

Properties that go well with the use of wood are sustainability and circularity. WEBO exclusively uses wood that grows in sustainably managed forests and is PEFC® and/or FSC® and STIP® certified. Wood also stores CO2 during its lifetime, making it possible to build CO2-neutral. This is in contrast to other materials, such as concrete, PVC, steel and aluminum.

Wood that comes from old window frames, doors and banisters can also be well reused to produce frames.

Appearance

Wood has a warm appearance. It gives atmosphere and forms the basis for a safe environment. An environment where we live, work and be together.

BENG- and NOM-Frame®.

With the BENG- and NOM-Frame®. you always meet the requirements set. For example, the BENG-Kozijn® achieves a U-value of up to 1.0 and the NOM-Kozijn® a U-value of up to 0.8. The BENG-Kozijn® can also be upgraded to a NOM-Kozijn® in the future, so you are always ready for 2050. The performance of the window frame is obtained through the thickness of the wood and the use of double or triple glazing, among other things.
