Profile system family takes durability and appearance to the highest level

The REHAU SYNEGO-NL profile system family takes these properties to the very highest level.

"SYNEGO-NL includes (Tilt&Turn) windows, (house) doors, lift-slide doors as well as inline sliding doors and windows in the most common and special elements," says Edwin van Houten, Commercial Manager Benelux Window Solutions at REHAU. "With the profile system, processors can make all elements common in the Netherlands. From simple windows to outward opening doors, which can also be supplied with skylights or sidelights. Even old-fashioned sliding windows are among the possibilities." Curved or angled window frames are also no problem. "The profile system has a 16° or 6° view, also in combination with the RHL connection. The profile system is also very stable and suitable for both residential construction and modular construction (prefab homes, chalet construction, etc.)."

Positive ecological footprint 

Combined with a sophisticated all-round frame seal, it creates unsurpassed wind, water and air tightness, Van Houten said. "A Class 9A (in accordance with DIN-EN 12208) certification guarantees excellent resistance to extreme weather conditions. It also aligns us with the sustainable building ambitions of more and more clients." The use of 40 to 75% recycled material (EcoPuls label) during the production of the SYNEGO-NL profile systems contributes to a positive ecological footprint. "Plastic can easily be reintroduced into the production process ten times without sacrificing quality. REHAU takes its responsibility in this, by keeping the entire recycling process in its own hands. Old frames, windows and doors are actively collected by us, cleaned, finely ground, sorted and recovered, after which they are reused in the core of our profiles. This alone enables us to save 97,000 tons of CO2 every year. If we had to offset this, 7.8 million trees would be needed in an area of some 137,000 soccer fields."

Diversity in design

In addition to durability, the appearance of the facade is also guaranteed with SYNEGO-NL. First of all, the window profiles are available with an exceptionally smooth and patented High Definition Finishing (HDF) surface in stable white, which is particularly easy to maintain and less susceptible to dirt. This allows building owners to enjoy the relaxed Scandinavian style to the maximum. "Architects and end users also benefit from the very highest paint quality," says Van Houten. "We have more than seventy years of experience in the automotive industry, where REHAU paints automotive parts in more than 500 colors. We have translated the technical knowledge and expertise gained in this process not only to HDF, but also to a versatile and proven KALEIDO COLOR program with more than 400 color and design finishes. With KALEIDO COLOR, we offer a suitable solution for every furnishing and every living style. Here it is even possible to color-coat the rebate all around, for a uniform look of the doors and windows." 

Unique wood look without painting

Within the KALEIDO color family, REHAU offers various design options, whereby the SYNEGO-NL profiles can be provided with a high-quality color film with wood, solid and metallic motifs (KALEIDO FOIL), a multi-layer spray paint (KALEIDO PAINT) or a cladding with aluminum cladding profiles (KALEIDO COVER) as desired. The newest member of this design family is KALEIDO WOODEC. This high-quality and matte foil in wood look is not only incredibly beautiful to look at, but also feels very real! "The finish can hardly be distinguished from real wood," Van Houten also emphasizes. "Thanks to the KALEIDO color family, architects as well as end-users can really give their imagination free rein to the maximum and benefit from unique properties such as a low-maintenance, scratch-resistant, weatherproof and light-resistant surface with a very high color fastness."
