Renovation of office building Public Prosecutor's Office Central Netherlands

In the bustling heart of Utrecht, on the Graadt van Roggenweg, the fourth floor of the office building of the Public Prosecutor's Office Midden-Nederland has been completely renovated. This floor is intended for the Central Processing Unit of the Public Prosecutor's Office (CVOM) and underwent an impressive metamorphosis. Maasmond Nederland B.V., with more than 125 years of experience in painting, blinds and floor finishes, played a key role. "We are very proud of our contribution to this renovation," says Cris Bruin, project manager at Maasmond. "We were given the opportunity to showcase our versatility by combining multiple disciplines."

Maasmond Netherlands has a rich history in the construction and finishing industry. What began as a painting company has grown into a multidisciplinary specialist. In addition to painting, Maasmond also offers floor finishes, blinds (including its own workshop) and custom interiors. The company regularly takes on challenging total finishing projects for private individuals, office buildings, (semi) investors and government agencies. "We believe in short lines of communication and one fixed point of contact for our customers. That makes working together efficient and personal," Brown explains.

A multifaceted approach

At the project in Utrecht, Maasmond provided the floor finish, including carpeting and cast floors. In addition, the company took care of the painting of the walls and supplied custom interiors. "Among other things, we made custom locker cabinets, pantries, consultation boxes and worktops," says Bruin. The radiators were also given a sleek wrapping in the right color. The result is a beautiful work environment for the District Attorney's Office.

Multiple disciplines, one project

What makes this project unique is the combination of disciplines performed by Maasmond. "For us it is special that we realize the floors, walls as well as the custom interior," Brown says enthusiastically. Although the renovation went smoothly, there were some challenges. Among other things, delivering the floor covering on time was difficult for a while. Through tight planning, in which the floor was tackled in two phases, the team still managed to complete everything on schedule.

Due pride

"The entire project is something to be proud of," says Brown. "The cooperation with client PHB De Combi went smoothly, partly because of the clear communication and short lines of communication." With more than a century of experience, Maasmond continues to build lasting relationships and special projects, he emphasizes. "The human interpretation of real estate projects always comes first for us. Also with this renovation. Thus the CVOM employees have an attractive, comfortable working environment with beautiful floors, walls and custom interior."
