VIANEN was founded in 1961 as Houtindustrie Vianen and today we are a leading producer of wooden façade elements and wooden window frames. At VIANEN, we believe in delivering the best product with the lowest possible environmental impact. Wood is at our core: an honest, natural and versatile material that we have grown up with and continue to build on. Wood is sustainable, CO₂-neutral, reusable and radiates warmth. During its growth it does not emit any CO₂ - on the contrary, forests store CO₂ and remove it from the atmosphere.
Specializing in wooden window frames and prefabricated timber frame elements
VIANEN is an expert in the production of wooden window frames and prefabricated HSB elements. These fit perfectly within circular building concepts with a minimal carbon footprint. In order to use wood also in high-rise buildings, we have invested for years in products that meet all technical and constructional requirements - both for HSB elements and frames.
In high-rise buildings there are strict requirements for wind and water tightness as well as air tightness. This requires sophisticated detailing, particularly at the connections between the HSB element and the structural shell. Through smart design choices and accurate finishing on the water- and vapor control side of the HSB element, we achieve a high level of comfort. Our elements are tested to 600 Pa wind load - suitable for building up to over 100 meters high in coastal areas. This performance is guaranteed in the KOMO seal of approval for non-load-bearing façade elements in high-rise and low-rise buildings.
