Bert Fitters Afbouw B.V. took care of the finishing of the health center in the former San Salvator church in 's-Hertogenbosch. The family business from Nieuwkuijk looks back on another successful project for client Built by De Wildt.
Patrick Fitters, along with his sister Melanie Fitters, represents the second generation in the family business. With Maarten Couwenberg, he conducts project management. He says, "We regularly perform finishing work for Built by De Wildt. We get involved in these projects as a partner. Often Built by De Wildt sets up the plans and we think along at the executive level. Because we know well what to expect from each other, this usually goes smoothly and efficiently." Couwenberg adds, "As a solid, no-nonsense company, we fit in well with Built by De Wildt. We can switch quickly among ourselves and find a solution for every issue, no matter how complex."

"The conversion of San Salvator Church into a health center was a typical Built by De Wildt project," Couwenberg continued. "The situation was anything but standard. We were dealing with a monumental building, into which the health center was built as a box-in-box construction. In it and in between, we had to finish." Bert Fitters Afbouw's work consisted of paneling and installing metal stud walls, window frames, doors, system ceilings and baseboards.
At the beginning of this year, the finishing work started. In eighteen weeks, Bert Fitters Afbouw brought the health center to the desired completion level. "We finish the shell," Fitters explains. "In doing so, we make sure that the building and the practice rooms meet all the basic wishes and needs. Think of sufficient soundproofing and solid walls to hang TV screens, for example. Of course, the functions of the practice rooms were already taken into account in the design phase. A physiotherapist has different requirements than a general practitioner, for example." About the final result, and the way it came about, Fitters is satisfied. "Michiel Vernooij of Built by De Wildt supervised the project excellently. The good cooperation with Built by De Wildt and the other parties once again paid off. Nice that we were allowed to collaborate on this special project."
