T-Port Logistic Campus expands further with the start of the next construction phase at XL Business Park Twente. Located at a central spot in the eastern Netherlands, close to the German border and with an on-site barge terminal, T-Port Logistic Campus in Almelo lives up to its name at spot 6 of the logistics hotspots in the Netherlands.
The next 3 units on Phase North will be built to Heylen Warehouses' successful campus concept. Given the current climate after the Covid pandemic and the booming effect of e-commerce, more clients are looking for immediately available space to handle the overcapacity of product supply. Therefore, Heylen Warehouses has taken the decision to launch the next phase to give its clients the flexibility to grow in challenging times.
Some 33,000m², divided into 3 linkable units, state-of-the-art logistics warehouses with eye-catching offices will soon rise on the plain. The remaining 90,000m² will be realized in phases. Heylen Warehouses will raise its standard on this site to a clear height of 13.70m to capitalize on the latest trends in the e-commerce market. The modern Combi Terminal Twente is next door to bring containers directly from the ship to the distribution center, and vice versa. CTT is one of the largest container terminals in the Netherlands with a throughput of approximately 100,000 TEU in Almelo, and daily sailings between the other proprietary terminals of Hengelo and Rotterdam.
