Timpaan is committed to affordable housing now and in the future.

We have again had the opportunity to work on great projects over the past period. For example, earlier this year we put homes of our own concept the Smart Home on sale for the first time, in project The Gardens of Ursem, which are now under construction. The concept was devised to make high-quality living possible and accessible to all. Because the homes are situated back-to-back, the land area is used effectively. The Smart homes are as much as six meters wide and have two floors. The homes are now under construction. We look forward to realizing these homes in many more places in the Netherlands to keep high quality living accessible. This is what Timpaan is known for and we continue to promote it, such as at the Provada during a successful roundtable discussion, in interviews in various trade journals or in a opinion piece in the FD.

We are also very pleased to have won, together with UBA Projectontwikkeling, the public tender for the redevelopment of the approximately 5 hectares of sports fields in Hillegom-Noord. With the call for tenders, the municipality of Hillegom focused on affordable housing, especially for the Hillegom residents themselves. The plan consists of 136 homes in the social buy (with prices between approximately €100,000 and €225,000) and 148 homes in the free sector buy. Housing in the social rental sector will also be included in the plan. The project fits seamlessly with Timpaan's mission and vision.

This will allow us to continue to serve home seekers in the segment we focus on in the coming years: affordable owner-occupied housing.

The sale of a diverse neighborhood in Sassenheim will start soon: Park Overteylingen. The development is a collaboration with Van Rhijn Bouw. The 131 homes are divided into various types: from social rental homes to detached houses for sale.

On October 16, the municipality of Hoorn, Scholtens Projects and Timpaan signed a letter of intent to develop a new residential neighborhood on the Balk site and the 'Landje van Mak' in Zwaag. Approximately 300 to 450 homes are to be realized in the plan.
