Standard compliance with fire and smoke resistance without the intervention of a fire safety expert?
WEBO, producer of HSB elements and wooden window frames, has launched its latest product line Refractory® launched. The products in this innovative line have been extensively tested and certified for fire and smoke resistance, and meet the specific fire requirements set forth in the Building Code.

In practice, EN 16034 CE certification for fire and smoke is usually not available for a frame or door construction. This is because the certification quickly lapses when deviating from the scope on a tested system or when components come from multiple suppliers. Especially in view of stricter laws and regulations - such as the Wkb - this certification is increasingly important for contractors and building professionals.
The Refractory® products are designed as complete systems and come standard with EN 16034 CE certification. As a result, WEBO bridges the gap between regulations and practice.
The first product within the new line is the WoodAlu-Frame Fireproof®, which has been extensively tested in Peutz's laboratory and provides surplus protection against fire and smoke.

In order to be able to realize various designs in practice, Peutz has drawn up an extended scope of application (ExAp) for the WoodAlu-Frame Refractory®. In the new brochure of WEBO are all classifications (EW, EI1, S200 & SA), configurations and sizes are displayed in a convenient way.
In addition to the WoodAlu-Frame Fireproof® WEBO has a 30-60 minute fire certification for wood window frames. The HSB and Scaffoldless® elements meet the requirements and can be engineered and produced in accordance with fire class B.
