Specialist panel construction. Main distributor, busbar trunking and sub-distributors.

PS Netherlands supplied the main distributor, seven sub-distributors and the busbar trunking system for the new Coulisse Campus in Enter. "We always work together with the installer," he says.

PS Netherlands is a panel builder and provides exclusively custom solutions. The company specializes in two segments: control/regulation technology for machine builders or end customers and distributor technology for energy distribution. Guus Imming is branch manager of PS Netherlands East. "Starting from the low-voltage side of the transformer, we can relieve the customer and of course do this according to the latest standards. We always do this in cooperation with the installer, at Coulisse Campus with FH Loohuis. We work together regularly and here it was also the client's wish to work with local parties. We consider that a noble ambition; for example, we recently built our own building in Nijverdal ourselves."

Five-week construction period

The 3,200-ampere Eaton main distributor supplied by PS Netherlands weighs about 2,000 pounds. PS Netherlands builds this type of distribution system under license from Eaton, and this took about five weeks of construction time. "The cables the installer works with are normally made of copper, but in this case of aluminum. That is difficult for the installers to work with. That's why we installed special clamps to make the work on site easier. This is how we make progress together."

The distributor was driven into the hall by crane and placed in the right place at the direction of a service technician from PS Nederland and assistance from FH Loohuis. The seven sub-distributions were delivered on site, which FH Loohuis placed itself. In addition, PS Nederland laid a 3,200-amp busbar power supply and a 2,500-amp busbar from Schneider Electric through the hall for the solar panels and heat pumps. 

PS Nederland Oost was involved in the project at an early stage. Imming: "We were allowed to think along with the solutions of the installer. Of course, before that a consultant had already thought with Coulisse about what the technical installation had to meet. We are proud that we were able to collaborate with our specialism on such a beautiful project."
