The pressure on construction teams is increasing. In design, licensing and tendering processes, choices regarding environmental performance, fire safety and maintenance increasingly need to be demonstrably substantiated. MPG calculations are no longer an administrative step, but a determining factor in the technical and financial feasibility of projects.
To strengthen that underpinning, WEBO has made additional investments in fire tests and in validated MPG environmental data, included in the National Environmental Database (NMD).. The results are now compiled in a new brochure on the Wood-Alu-Frame®.
Exterior frames with opening windows and doors are subject to CE marking according to EN 14351-1. In projects where fire and smoke resistance is part of the tender, additional CE according to EN 16034 mandatory. Within that framework, configurations of the WoodAlu-Frame Fireproof® Tested with performance from 30 to 60 minutes, including ratings for fire (EW, EI₁) and smoke (Sa, S200).
A building's environmental performance is increasingly driven by product-specific data. WEBO has therefore developed 72 new category-1 product cards be included in the NMD, for both wooden as wood-aluminum frames. Uniquely, it is to scalable product maps goes. So you can apply different dimensions while the same validated environmental data remain valid. As a result, the product maps are also good and clear on project level deployable.
For construction teams, this means fewer computational corrections to generic datasets, more predictability in MPG outcomes and firmer substantiation towards the client and the competent authority. It offers low maintenance Wood-Alu-Frame® especially for high-rise buildings.
The new brochure brings together the current state of the art: material construction, performance, standards, digital CNC manufacturing process and applicability in a variety of residential and commercial construction projects.
