ERA Contour starts construction of Mi Oso in Amsterdam Southeast

Spacious porches and exotic courtyard gardens create a residential neighborhood with a tropical touch

TBI company ERA Contour is starting construction of Amsterdam's hottest residential neighborhood, Mi Oso. Dirk de Jager, district administrator and portfolio holder for housing/spatial planning of the City of Amsterdam, gave the official starting signal on February 21. Mi Oso will feature 84 apartments and 42 spacious family homes with a veranda and garden. The residential project is very popular and brings spacious living in green surroundings with an exotic look closer. The residential project was developed by ERA Contour and designed by Geurst & Schulze architects. Housing corporation Eigen Haard is responsible for leasing the social rental apartments.

"Mi Oso has a very own identity and it's great to see that residents embrace that, it connects them and makes them proud. With this we can contribute a little to their happiness in living and that's what we do it for," says Job van Zomeren, statutory director at ERA Contour.

Spacious living with outdoor living on your own porch
The look of Mi Oso has something sunny and southern. A warm look whose ingredients are a green courtyard garden, white facades, red roofs and romantic verandas. The 42 spacious single-family homes in Mi Oso consist of three floors with a living area of 111 to 116 m2. The romantic veranda at the front makes the home even more special. Whether it is snowing, raining or sunny, the veranda brings the outdoors a lot closer. The living room located at the rear of the house also provides that. Because through the French doors to the backyard, you step right into the fresh air. And for even more greenery, you walk a little further into the green communal courtyard garden.

Completion in spring 2020
All of the single-family homes have been sold. Eigen Haard will rent the apartments through WoningNet in the summer of 2020. The homes are expected to be completed in the spring of 2020. More information about the project can be found at www.mi-oso.nl/.
