CPO project with focus on maximum energy efficiency and sustainability

The new Wonsick neighborhood in Wijchen is a special project. The client is a CPO, which stands for Collective Private Partnership. Here the future residents themselves take on the role of client, giving them greater influence on the construction process. Their vision focused on maximum energy efficiency and sustainability, which is why they chose an insulation value higher than the required R_C-value.

Three different insulation boards were used to provide high-quality insulation for the eight homes. Eurothane® Silver was chosen for the roof insulation, Eurowall® was used for the cavity walls, and Powerwall® was used as the insulation material for the exterior walls. This case study details why these materials were used and how they contributed to achieving the project's energy efficiency goals.
