Annemarieke Blancke will take office as operational director of Velox as of December 1. In doing so, founder and CEO Kisito Zonneveld has successfully strengthened the organization of Velox, the project agency operating in the upper segment of the construction, installation and civil engineering sectors.
Velox was founded in 2012 and has grown significantly since then. The innovative company offers project solution and consultancy to leading project companies within the construction, installation and civil engineering sectors. Annemarieke Blancke has been appointed to further expand the organization and realize its growth ambitions. Of course together with the employees of Velox who make the company a success.
Kisito: "As an entrepreneur, I have a drive to win. I like to work on my business instead of being in my business. I can do this more now, because Annemarieke has all the qualities and I have full confidence in her to make Velox's growth ambition come true. The daily management is in good hands with her. Of course, as founder, I am closely involved with Velox. I am happy that the company gets the reinforcement it deserves.."
Annemarieke was previously director-shareholder at mténv (now Continu) and thus has a lot of experience in the industry. She started there as a consultant and advanced to operations director. During this period, mténv showed strong growth figures, which led to the sale of the company to House of HR. As operational director of Velox, Annemarieke will focus on both the growth and development of the consultants and the growth of the company itself. She is an involved manager who puts people in their power to realize growth. As director, she is a go-getter and a true generalist who can handle both organizational and commercial matters.
Annemarieke: "When Kisito asked me for this role, I didn't have to think long. He has built a great company, with a fantastic group of people and a lot of growth potential. It is no coincidence that I ended up at Velox just now. The Velox Team recently started a growth trajectory at Peak Value called 'The picture of the future'. A good moment for Kisito to make room for an Operations Director, to take up this trajectory together with the team. In this growth trajectory we look together at where we are now, where we want to be in three years and what milestones we want to achieve by when. It is an honor that together with the team, as the person with final responsibility, I can realize the social, societal and financial goals of Velox.."
The Dutch construction industry is changing rapidly and faces a number of major challenges, such as the housing challenge, the sustainability challenge and a tight labor market. Velox offers the sector a helping hand with a data-driven flexible shell, which closes gaps in existing projects and manages new projects more efficiently.
