Platform on new construction, renovation, restoration and transformation
The close cooperation between D-Glas and Willy Naessens Group from the past is anchored in share ownership. The participation fits into the vertical integration strategy that can thus also be extended to the alu division of the Willy Naessens Group.
Vertical integration is the key word for the Willy Naessens Group. Chris De Clerck remains a shareholder and the face of D-Glas in the future, the strategic participation should enable D-Glass to continue the excellent growth trajectory of the past 10 years in the future.
D-Glas is retail and wholesale building glass, both supply and installation. The specializations of D-Glas are exterior glazing, interior glazing and glass balustrades. DGlas employs about 45 people, all of whom of course remain active, and where 6 additional workers are already being sought in order to fulfill orders on time.
Willy Naessens Alu is the division of the Willy Naessens Group that takes aluminum joinery to heart, mainly for its own industrial building customers, but also for other project developers. Willy Naessens Alu currently employs 60 people.
In addition to this participation, Willy Naessens Alu will move in 2021 to a new site in Oudenaarde with a new 10,000 mÇ workshop in order to continue to give their customers the best service and to continue growth. This coupled with the expansion of 4,200 mÇ they plan to realize on the D-glas site in Ostend means that in the near future the Willy Naessens Alu division will have more than 20,000 mÇ of production workshops at its disposal with some 120 employees and will turn over an annual turnover of 25 million euro. In this way, Willy Naessens Alu will immediately be a very prominent player in its segment.
