Acoustic climate control is one of the challenges for every interior designer when designing and furnishing a room. After all, good room acoustics are crucial for both the experience of space and well-being. The demand for sustainable acoustic solutions that contribute to comfort and a pleasant room experience is therefore increasing. But how do you find the right sound absorbing solution without compromising on design? Asona has developed an innovative spray-on solution that completely blends into the room. You experience the difference immediately!
It is inherent in acoustic materials that they are soft and therefore vulnerable. A ceiling is therefore the best place to incorporate an acoustic solution, partly because of the available space. However, this immediately raises another problem: What do you do with all the pipes, lights and spotlights? What if the design of the ceiling cannot be changed? What if you have to take into account beams or recesses in the ceiling?
Asona has used its many years of experience in the development of innovative, sound-absorbing and completely seamless spray-on solutions to develop completely seamless and almost invisible ceiling systems which not only optimize the room experience and speech intelligibility to a high degree, but also blend into the design of the room in such a way that they are hardly noticeable. You do hear the difference immediately and experience the pleasant atmosphere and spatial experience. And that is a good thing, because that is exactly what it is all about!
Broadly speaking, Asona distinguishes two systems within which there are a variety of possibilities in terms of color and texture.
Sonaspray: this spray-on solution is sprayed directly onto any possible surface in the desired color, texture and thickness, according to the acoustic requirements.
Sonacoustic; this ultra-smooth solution with a luxurious appearance is sprayed on a sound-absorbing substrate in a variety of possible colors.
Both solutions perfectly complement the design and precisely follow the contours and shapes of the existing ceiling. Whether straight or round, domed, undulating or with interruptions. Even the presence of a level difference in the ceiling or a void poses no limitation.
In addition, if desired, it is possible to create a contrasting effect precisely by applying special colors and shapes. Spotlights and lamps can also be beautifully integrated. If desired, pipes and beams can be included in the paintwork or remain visible by working around them. This gives the architect enormous flexibility to design any space as desired.
