Top quality aluminum windows, doors and curtain walls

Both for residential and commercial projects. "Aluminum is durable, low-maintenance and of very high quality," stresses director Albert Derks. "The material is extremely resistant to all weather influences and retains its aesthetic value even after a long time. The many projects we have completed in recent years in cooperation with architects, contractors and other clients are telling proof of this."

As an example, Derks cites the transformation of the former Technical Services office in Eindhoven into 157 apartments. Commissioned by Stam + De Koning, Thermo Konstrukties BV produced and assembled the aluminum curtain walls, sliding doors and window frames here. "In addition, we made the aluminum flashing around the facades. Also special is ABC Square's distribution center at the Schiphol Trade Park, where we were commissioned by SYSTABO to provide the aluminum curtain walls and frame strips. Especially for this project and in close cooperation with Reynaers Aluminium, we had a new tube profile developed, which was applied in different lengths and gives the facade a special appearance." Also impressive is the renovation of the Jumbo Headquarters in Veghel, commissioned by Bouwbedrijf van de Ven, where Thermo Konstrukties BV realized the aluminum window frames, curtain walls and automatic doors, as well as the aluminum skylights in the roof and the walkway connecting to CHV Noordkade.

Proper appearance and detailing

"We are often involved in new construction and renovation projects as early as the consulting phase," says Derks. "In this phase, we proactively think along with the client, architect and contractor, to arrive at the right look and detailing/connection of the façade elements," Derks says. "The All-In car wash in Nederweert by Bouwbedrijf Peter Peters is a great example of this. After the calculation and quotation process, our draftsmen and work planners take care of, among other things, the AutoCAD or BIM elaboration of the elements. We are one of the first companies in the Netherlands to use HiCAD (3D CAD). Incidentally, we are still looking for an AutoCAD draftsman/work planner to join our team."

Taken care of from A to Z

Production is also controlled from the drawing office. Thermo Konstrukties BV has its own modern equipped production hall in Cuijk, where semi- and fully automatic CNC machines guarantee high quality and accurate dimensions. In addition, a bending shop is set up here for bending aluminum sheet metal. "All products are fully glazed and transported to the construction site including hardware, where our own skilled fitters or a third party takes care of assembly, in accordance with VMGR and our own conditions. During execution, clients deal with a single point of contact, who coordinates the project from A to Z. In this way, they are completely relieved by us."
