Walls, columns, beams, stairs, landings, T-docks, canal plates and balcony and gallery slabs in concrete: it all comes from Preco's state-of-the-art concrete plant in Apeldoorn. The total supplier is able to prepare the complete concrete shell for a building prefabricated, so that on construction it is a matter of assembling.
"The fact that as a total supplier we can take care of everything in-house, i.e. through a single point of contact, is of great added value for many clients," says Theo Kool, co-owner of Preco. "We have traditionally been very active in utility and hall construction, but large-scale residential construction is also benefiting more and more from the advantages of our precast concrete solutions. We have therefore considerably increased and expanded our production capacity in recent years in order to be able to realize the most diverse projects. In doing so, we assist from design and production according to KOMO to delivery at the desired time and assembly of the precast concrete elements on site."
Most recent addition to Preco's product range is the in-house production of precast hollow-core slabs. It more or less formed the missing piece of the puzzle for Preco as a total supplier. "Since last summer, we can also produce hollow-core slabs in extreme thicknesses of up to 500 millimeters," says Kool. "Unique by Dutch standards. With the latest 500 version, we also offer an economical alternative to pre-stressed TT plates."
As a total supplier, Preco also meets the latest sustainability requirements. "Residual concrete does not exist with us. It all goes back into the 'mill'. We also have the CSC Gold certificate, which proves that we meet the strictest environmental and safety requirements. We are also completely self-sufficient with 3,300 solar panels on our roof. Enough to also power 200 households in Apeldoorn."
