Commissioned by KnaapenGroep, we delivered Windows Factory Op 't Hoog plastic window frames for the renovation of De Grote Eik in Tilburg. The maintenance-free window frames contribute to making the apartment building more sustainable.
"We have been working for KnaapenGroep since 2013," explains general manager Jan op 't Hoog. "In most cases we are involved in large renovation projects in which we think along from our product knowledge and experience. For De Grote Eik we took the calculation, production and delivery off our hands." The fact that both KnaapenGroep and Ramenfabriek Op 't Hoog are family businesses provides a good basis for cooperation. Op 't Hoog: "We stand for the same values, including high customer commitment, clear agreements and short lines of communication. Moreover, we know each other and the renovation industry well. That works perfectly."
Op 't Hoog continues: "Every project, including The Great Oak, we carry out entirely in-house. This allows us to maintain control over the quality and progress of our work. We have a modern and fully equipped production environment, where we are actively engaged in product innovations. For example, nowadays we can weld window frames without seams. We can also offer both interior and exterior straight joints. Manufacturing and installing durable and high-quality plastic window frames is always our starting point. We make this happen with a team of more than ninety motivated employees, including dozens of permanent assembly crews that we deploy on both renovation and new construction projects."
The fact that Ramenfabriek Op 't Hoog also frequently operates in the private market contributes positively to its work on housing renovation projects. Op 't Hoog: "In both cases you are dealing with residents, their wishes and their specific situations. Our fitters on the housing projects know better than anyone else how to deal neatly with residents." The plastic window frames for The Great Oak have now been delivered. "Everything went smoothly," Op 't Hoog looks back. "Exactly as we are used to from KnaapenGroep. We are looking forward to the next project."
