For the 'Somerparc aan de Amstel' project in the Amstel Quarter in Amsterdam, WEBO is engineering and producing the wood-aluminum window frames and HSB elements. A unique feature of the project is that the wood-aluminum frames are already placed in the HSB elements in the factory, so that the elements can be assembled on the building site directly from the crane. This leads to shorter construction time and reduced failure costs. The HoutAlu-Kozijn® is maintenance-free and achieves excellent insulation values, which makes the frame particularly suitable for high-rise buildings.

Currently, for the Somerparc on the Amstel delivered the HSB elements with wood-aluminum frames. Rik Notkamp, Account Manager at WEBO talks about the project: "the HoutAlu-Kozijn® offers several advantages for the Somerparc. For example, with the larch wood used, we are able to meet the strict insulation requirements set for this project, as opposed to fully aluminum window frames. The design freedom of the HoutAlu-Kozijn® was also decisive. This is because the wood on the inside gives a warm and luxurious appearance, while the aluminum on the outside provides a sleek design. The aluminum profiles are also powder coated in a special way, which gives the outside a light sand texture. Finally, the combination with HSB elements offers a great advantage because the elements can be assembled in a minimum lead time and are immediately wind and watertight."
The WoodAlu-Frame® from WEBO can be made with many types of wood and final finishes.

WEBO's window frames and HSB elements are delivered under the KOMO quality mark and carry an FSC®, PEFC™ and/or STIP® certificate. Both the window frames and HSB elements comply with BENG as standard, but can also be engineered and delivered according to the NOM standard. This makes you completely ready for 2050.
Wooden window frames combine very well with other materials such as aluminum. This gives you the best of both worlds: on the inside you have the warm look of wood and on the outside the sleek look of aluminum. Wood-aluminum window frames also offer a solution for meeting the BENG requirement. In fact, wood insulates up to 1770 times better than aluminum. In addition, wood is naturally circular because it stores CO2.
In addition to its appearance and performance, the HoutALu-Kozijn® is a cost-effective alternative to all-aluminum window frames.
Because of its design and performance, the HoutAlu-Kozijn® is used in both low- and high-rise buildings. On WEBO's website you will find all the product characteristics and advantages of the HoutAlu-Kozijn®.
