Prodoor is increasingly focusing on related work in addition to industrial door solutions in the food industry. With the new private label ProColdstore, the company offers expertise of insulated wall-roof-ceiling sandwich panels, floors, doors and refrigeration technology under one roof. "Thanks to our knowledge and experience, we can completely unburden our customers with commitment to and care for their production company," says owner Ronnie Schiltmans.
The new private label was born out of Prodoor's vision of maximum unburdening. Schiltmans: "We have been visiting many regular customers for years because of our industrial doors. We noticed that a facility manager or head of technical services at these companies has a lot of responsibilities. We decided to see if we could relieve even more within our long-term relationship than just with our core business."
This turned out to be quite possible, as years of experience and extensive knowledge already exist within Prodoor. Therefore, within the private label ProColdstore, insulation system construction, structural adjustments, flooring, floor repair, floor cleaning, refrigeration technology, optimization of refrigeration systems and optimization of electricity supply are now also possible. "The need for expansion and/or adaptation of insulated rooms can arise quickly and should therefore be met immediately. The advantage of ProColdstore is that all materials for the realization of insulated rooms are either in stock or on call from our suppliers. We also always and everywhere work with the same quality materials and the same quality partners."
With this new service, Prodoor offers a solution to problems many companies face. "Contractors and insulators are relatively less equipped for small-scale renovation or expansion projects. We can fill this need, which means that our customers no longer have to wait long and pay for links that are redundant from now on. We also differentiate ourselves from contractors and insulators because we build turnkey and they do not. We are involved from day one ourselves and take everything off our hands. During the project, we also stay in constant contact with the client. We tell them what we are going to do every day and we give feedback on what we have done every day. From our expertise, we know how important it is to coordinate the production and hygiene planning during a rebuild or renovation. We ensure as little delay as possible, for example by working on weekends when there is production on weekdays."
ProColdstore's first project was realized at Hems Vlees in Oss, Schiltmans explains. "With this company we already had a good relationship. When they needed a new indoor cold store, we were called. The question was whether we could also build freezer and refrigeration units. As always, I then immediately got in the car, because that is in our blood. We want to act as quickly as possible and think along with the customer." Prodoor accepted the challenge and thus the ProColdstore label was born. After the successful first project, more followed this year. "More and more projects allow us to test ourselves for distinctiveness compared to contractors and insulators. We have set high standards for ourselves, because we go for the highest quality and maximum relief. Starting next year, our concept stands as a strong foundation on which to build."
