Selecting the right insulation material for a project is sometimes a complex issue of different thicknesses and insulation values. Not to mention the installation. More durable and softer

The latest generation of mineral wool within the URSA TERRA family is more durable, softer and more pleasant to install. So is WALLTEC REFLEX. This robust wool panel is coated on one side with a micro-perforated, vapor-permeable and water-repellent aluminum foil. This makes WALLTEC REFLEX, with a lambda value of 32, an interesting solution for insulating exterior and cavity walls. With its reflective effect, the aluminum foil contributes maximally to the thermal insulation of a home or commercial building. 

Easy to install

Like the other insulation products within the URSA TERRA family, WALLTEC REFLEX excels in terms of installation. The lightweight wool board is easy to install and fits optimally against the supporting wall. The boards also fit well together, making it unnecessary to tape the seams. The glass wool board is available in various thicknesses.

Optimized logistics

Glass wool is very compressible: an advantage during the logistics chain. Moreover, URSA optimized its packaging in early 2023. The result? More products are packed per multipack. This translates into lower foil consumption, more square meters of glass wool per pallet, less transport and thus lower CO2 emissions, and optimized storage on site. A win-win for all involved within
a construction project.

Renewal building for Achter de Graef

In Wessen, Limburg, Construction Company Schroen was responsible for the contracting work on the Achter de Graef residential project. Within this project, twelve existing homes dating from the middle of the last century were given a thorough update. Performant insulation was a must for pleasant living comfort. "In consultation with our supplier Isowilms, the choice fell on WALLTEC REFLEX in a 131-millimeter version," explains project manager Joris Stultiens of Bouwbedrijf Schroen. "This product combines a high insulation value with minimal thickness. This allows sufficient space for airflow in the 200-millimeter-wide cavity."

By the way, installation is very easy by placing a drill or glue anchor and pinning the insulation. Finally, URSA's good value for money and high delivery reliability were also decisive."
