Steel and aluminum window frames and curtain walls

Complete outer shell

On the Danzigerkade, Cinema Amsterdam is steadily taking shape. Facade builder J.M. van Delft & zn. has the honor of taking on the entire outer shell of the building designed by Dedato. Commissioned by Homines Bouw, it is supplying steel and aluminum window frames and curtain walls for both the office and the main entrance of this project.

A key ingredient to the success of this project is the seamless collaboration with the general contractor.

The office is nearing completion. Wind and watertight, as envisioned, this building is expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2024. The follow-up, the upcoming assembly of Building B, is scheduled for the end of this year. This concerns the entrance to the cinema, where some steel fire-resistant facades have already been assembled.

J.M. van Delft & zn. not only proves its craftsmanship, but also demonstrates tight project planning where efficiency and quality go hand in hand. An important ingredient for the success of this project is the seamless cooperation with the main contractor. Despite the hustle and bustle on the construction site, both parties proved that good communication and planning are essential for the successful realization of such an ambitious project.
