Cladding with a story 

'Our partners and traders are deliberately an extension'

"The Larikshof in Assen is a great match with our Neolife cladding," begins Roel Tromp, owner of LJ Solutions. "The complex is designed with an eye for the surrounding nature and life-cycle proof. Not only for the residents, but also as a building." That fits incredibly well with LJ Solutions' philosophy, according to the inspired entrepreneur.

Sacon Architecten came across Neolife, the circular cladding made of natural wood composite, by chance. "The owner of Sacon cycled past one of our projects in Zwolle and then contacted us. Isn't that nice!" 

Cladding on balconies

Sacon Architects chose Neolife Cover 6 in the color Sun for the facades of the Larikshof. "Neolife provides a natural look and fits the Larikshof very well. The product consists of a mix of high-quality, naturally pure wood composite. It easily lasts fifty years, with minimal maintenance. In addition, it discolors only in the first few months, to one uniform shade that is then colorfast. And the fire rating is of course important in an apartment complex like this. That is why Neolife Cover with a fire class B was chosen." Tromp points to the design. "The nice thing is that Sacon also continued the cladding over the balconies. Something we do more often and which works very well."

Together at the design table

He explains how LJ Solutions has been involved in the design of the Larch Court from the very beginning. "That's not always the case, but it makes it so much easier. You can prevent problems instead of solving them afterwards. Now we were able to think along well on some specific points from our technical knowledge and experience with facades." In this, LJ Solutions pertinently does not want to be a salesman, but a thinking partner. "We look for possibilities together. We honestly know and share what can and cannot be done. From technology to logistics. In this we consciously make ourselves vulnerable, that suits us. We speak the language of the architect and the contractor. Even after that, we stay connected. That really is our way of working." 

Circular and natural

"We have wonderful products," Trump continued. "We think that's important. Of all the products in our range, we guarantee sustainable production, longevity, as well as easy processing in construction. We even arrange for the boxes to be returned, to be reused. The residual waste from the Neolife products is recycled."

Flexible interplay

He also points to the supplier. "Kuipers Emmen delivered this product. It is close and involved in this project. In this case, Neolife Cover was delivered in different lengths. We see good and flexible interplay between the various parties here. Our partners and dealers are deliberately an extension of LJ Solutions, in the way they work and think. So we form a nice combination of sales, support, supplier and performer. And that works perfectly."
