WEBO optimizes production of window frames with new CNC machine

Last year, WEBO introduced the new CNC machine, the Windowmaster 50 TopLine, put into operation. This represents an important step in the company's automated process and increasing production capacity. In addition, WEBO now uses DeltaPi's 3D software for the quotation, drawing and preparation of window frames. This makes processes even more streamlined and allows WEBO to realize shorter lead times, which offers many advantages for its customers.

Windowmaster 50 TopLine

The Windowmaster 50 TopLine offers significant advantages over the previous machine, the Biesse Winline. Advanced milling capabilities allow WEBO to perform more complex operations with less rework. In addition, the 5-axis robotic arm makes it possible to drill at angles, such as when installing aeration holes. The automatic loading system allows the machine to run completely autonomously.

With this innovative features WEBO can produce complex frame profiles quickly, efficiently and with maximum precision. The combination of technology and automation ensures an even more flexible production process, which is a great advantage for construction projects with tight schedules.

BENG- and NOM-Frame®.

WEBO supplies window frames that meet the requirements for Nearly Energy Neutral Buildings (BENG) and Zero-Meter Homes (NOM):

  • Thicknesses: The BENG Frame® has a profile thickness of 68 mm and is suitable for HR++ glass. The NOM-Frame® has a thickness of 90 mm and is designed for triple glazing. This combination ensures optimum insulation and minimum energy requirements.
  • Insulation: The BENG Frame® achieves a U-value of 1.0, while the NOM-Kozijn® achieves a U-value of 0.8. This makes the NOM-frame® extremely suitable for energy-neutral homes.
  • Sustainability: WEBO uses only sustainable wood that is STIP®-certified and comes from FSC®- and PEFCtm-certified forests.
  • Flexibility: The BENG Frame® with HR++ glass can easily be modified in the future by replacing the glass with triple glazing, achieving even higher insulation values.

Fireproof®: meet European requirements

In addition to its focus on innovation, sustainability and circularity, WEBO offers among other things Refractory® also offers window frames that comply with strict Dutch and European fire and smoke protection standards, such as EN 16034. These certified window frames, available in wood and wood-aluminum, have been thoroughly tested and provide up to 60 minutes of protection against fire penetration and flash-over (WBDBO). Especially under the Quality Assurance Act (Wkb), demonstrable performance is more important than ever.
