As an example, she mentions the NextGen™ office staircase with configurator, which provides architects, interior designers and contractors with not only a solid design staircase but also the best design options at their disposal. "In doing so, they can skip some important steps, such as drawing and structural calculations."

Quick configuration

In many offices there is a great need for good, functional and solid stairs with a long lifespan, Van de Beek knows. "The NextGen™ office staircase meets this need optimally and relieves designers, contractors and other professional specifiers of a lot of drawing work and costs. The separate deployment of a technical draughtsman is no longer necessary. Instead, the entire process from design to delivery is supported by a configurator, in which the NextGen™ office stairs can be easily configured and costed. How many floors need to be made accessible? Is a straight staircase desired? Or is a quartz staircase, for example, more appropriate?" After entering the correct dimensions, color and material options, a BIM drawing and price are immediately available. This allows an itemized quotation to be sent out very quickly. Moreover, the technical drawings can be directly integrated into the overall design of the architect or designing contractor and the order can be placed from the configurator. "The process is simple, logical and can be completed in just a few minutes." 

Wide range of colors and finishes

The modular NextGen™ office staircase features extremely clean lines and sleek minimalist details. EeStairs offers three color options for the treads. The stringers can be supplied in any RAL color. "The railings are available in wood or stainless steel and for the balustrades we offer three glass types: float glass, bronze glass and extra clear glass. The steps in anodized aluminum come standard with a ribbed non-slip top surface." The grip-resistant treads of the NextGen™ office stairs feature integral sound-absorbing cores, and their streamlined aerofoil profiles add something visually unique to the stair design, Van de Beek says. "And installation is also very easy. On-site welding is no longer required. This ensures that the stairs can be installed quickly and accurately by the contractor himself. Once the treads are attached to the stringers, the connection is invisible thanks to our click system."

A fixed staircase in just one square meter

Popular in the EeStairsGo range is also the space-saving 1m² staircase with configurator. "Our 1m² stairs in particular responds to the housing trend in large cities around the world, in which people are living smaller and smaller and want to use their living space more efficiently," Van de Beek said. "But also to the desire to increase home value, for example by opening up an attic space or basement with a fixed staircase. Without losing valuable living space."
