For over 50 years, FAAY has been a leader in developing and producing environmentally friendly and versatile precast wall systems. With the four main features of a FAAY wall; Biobased, Local, Modular and Circular, we strive to reduce the impact of the construction industry on the environment.
Core of flax
FAAY's biobased prefabricated partition walls have a core of flax and a top layer of gypsum. Flax is an inexhaustible raw material that is renewable, recoverable and environmentally friendly (biobased). Flax absorbs CO2 and also provides a healthy and pleasant indoor climate. The solid flax core makes the walls robust, screw-proof, impact-resistant, highly sound-insulating, fire-resistant and thermally insulating. , quick to assemble. The prefab walls are ready-to-use: including framework, insulation, end cladding and built-in pipe ducts, and therefore very quick to assemble.
Modular: less transportation, labor and waste
The walls are also modular. If the panels are not glued together, they can be disassembled and reused. The big advantage is that this makes a building life-proof: you can (re)arrange the building flexibly. That means less transport, labor and waste. With a very low MKI, FAAY is the right solution for comfortable living, flexible transformation and circular construction.
