Gasthuiskwartier, Den Bosch: High-end electrical installations

The Gasthuiskwartier in Den Bosch is far from an everyday project. Electrical contractor Van Santvoort Enovative Installations, as a partner in the construction team, was able to maximize its expertise to meet the high demands and many individual wishes.

Within the project, Van Santvoort is responsible for both the electrical and PV installations. "The basic design was a comprehensive installation, in which the residents had the opportunity to express their individual wishes. They listened to this en masse," says Geert van Gent. "The finally delivered E-installation for the first two building blocks is anything but standard." His colleague Mark van Vugt adds: "It was up to us to translate all those individual wishes and supplement them with technically clever solutions. The cooperation in preparation and execution was at a high level here. We therefore considered each home a unique project."

"In addition to the regular installations, we were responsible for home automation (domotics), intrusion security, door/video installations, access control, et cetera, among other things," Van Gent continued. "All in all, a high-end installation that was worked out in detail and coordinated with all the construction team partners involved." Van Santvoort is used to working in construction teams and to taking the advisory role in this. "We think along with our partners, where we also like to share our expertise in order to achieve an optimal end result together. That worked out well here. We are therefore looking forward to the next phase of the Gasthuiskwartier."
