Construction company Karbouw engaged the company for both the E-installation and W-installation: from lighting to air handling systems and from heating to plumbing. To date, the project involves three buildings: two apartment buildings and one semi-detached house.
From the pellet stoves under the apartment complex with four apartments, the heat goes to all the homes on the estate. Van den Berg Installateurs is taking care of the total installation here: underfloor heating, water pipes, ventilation, sewage and rainwater drainage, 230-Volt installation, lighting, indoor utility wiring and solar panels on the roof. "Particularly the wooden two-story is a new way of working for us," says Arjen Ruitenbeek, E-installation engineering project leader at Van den Berg Installateurs. "There, the installation is drawn out completely first, because the walls are delivered prefabricated. So the recesses for the installations are already there. Normally we mill and drill them ourselves. Also, wood works very differently than stone." For the installers, it's a matter of working very precisely because the homes are actually already finished. They just need to be put together.
Klingelbeek Estate is the first project Van den Berg Installers is doing for Karbouw. It is a nice project in a beautiful setting, Ruitenbeek believes. "Possibly other homes on the property will follow later. The cooperation with Karbouw is going very well."
