WTW units guarantee healthy indoor air in Laan van Spartaan

"Commissioned by main contractor UBA Bouw B.V., we fitted both apartments and ground-level houses, rental and for sale, with a heat recovery system," says Lagerwerf. "All units are equipped with cross block, which ensures that fresh outside air is preheated almost free of charge by the residual heat from the exhausted inside air. Based on the dwelling contents, we determined the required capacity per dwelling (250 to 400 m3/h)."

In the ground-level homes, the units are mostly installed in the technical room in the attic, he says. "A WTW duct in the roof takes care of the supply and removal of ventilation air here. In the apartments, on the other hand, a technical closet is set up, with air suction and extraction taking place through collective ducts (down pipes). In addition to the living spaces in the apartments, the storerooms in the parking garage are also extracted by our systems. We have already completed the last systems in December."
