'The flattest floors in the Netherlands'

Founded in 2017, Hiber Betonvloeren may be the youngest flooring company in the Netherlands, but it is a party with no less than 40 years of experience. The start-up has a clear specialization in realizing super-flat warehouse floors and even developed its own frame on the super-flat machine. This gives Hiber Betonvloeren a serious edge over the competition. Its ambitions therefore do not lie: "We want to make the flattest floors in the Netherlands," sounds enthusiastic.

Ad Raaijmakers and Jan Baijens, founders and owners of Hiber Betonvloeren, come from the concrete flooring world and have accumulated a tremendous wealth of knowledge and experience over the past decades. Both in production and engineering. "We complement each other perfectly," says Baijens. "Of course, we have had the wind in our sails economically since our founding in 2017, but we would not have dared to dream that we would grow in such a short time. We now realize about 600,000 m² of concrete floors annually with our own staff and especially in the super-flat floor segment. Since recently we are also a recognized training company and we also try to enthuse the 'youth' for our beautiful profession."

Hiber Betonvloeren has recently successfully realized the super-flat floors of the new distribution center of the Bommel Group in Dordrecht.

Driven and committed

That enthusiasm and great commitment both in preparation and during execution is an important core value of Hiber Concrete Flooring, according to Baijens. "Our employees are driven to make the most beautiful and flattest floor every time. We can consider ourselves lucky to have a positive and well-mannered team of people. We also get that feedback back from our customers. And after all, that's what you do it for." To create those most beautiful and flat floors, Hiber Betonvloeren uses state-of-the-art equipment. "We continue to continuously develop our super-flat machines in-house," Baijens continues. "For example, we have built a new modular frame on the machine to be able to create floors as wide as 28 meters in one motion. After all, the wider the track, the flatter you can work. With this machine, we recently successfully realized the super-flat floors of the new distribution center of de Bommel Groep in Dordrecht in lanes of 24 meters wide. We have built additional cleverness into the superflat machine in order to maintain our lead and thus be able to make the flattest floors in the Netherlands."
