How to prevent rejection of fire-resistant window frames at completion?

How do you avoid rejection of fire-resistant window frames at completion?

In practice, too many building professionals still rely on individual certified components in fire-resistant window frames, assuming that this will make the whole system compliant. But as soon as a window or door is part of an exterior frame, a fully tested and CE marked (EN 16034) system is required. This CE marking then applies to the entire system: including hinge parts, hinges and locks, glass, (optional) door closer and top and/or side screens. Do you fail to comply? Then you run the risk of rejection upon delivery.

WEBO responds to this with the Refractory® range.: CE-marked fire-resistant exterior windows that can now be used in even more configurations. Thanks to additional tests and new reports, within existing configurations - such as tilt and turn windows, outward opening windows, doors with top and side screens - more variants and sizes have been demonstrably tested in accordance with EN 16034. For the time being, WEBO is the only supplier able to supply fire and smoke-resistant wooden and wood-aluminum window frames with CE marking in accordance with EN 16034.

New Fireproof® brochure
WEBO recently released the new Vuurvast® brochure, which incorporates all versions, configurations and dimensions. In addition, the associated laws and regulations are clearly explained.

Fully tested system provides assurance upon delivery
With Fireproof® you are working with a pre-tested and certified system - including glass, hardware, seals and closers. The frames are supplied with a DoP as standard. As a result, you comply with the requirements of the Building Works Decree (Bbl) and the Building Quality Assurance Act (Wkb). This prevents discussion or rejection during testing and reduces the risk of failure costs or delays in delivery.
