Move beyond: keeping people moving

TK Elevator is one of the world's leading elevator companies with unique engineering capabilities. TK Elevator is a new name in a new guise. Until recently, the company was called Thyssenkrupp Elevator, but that changed in February 2021 when the company gained new owners. Along with the name change, the logo and corporate identity changed. "Nothing has changed about our products. The production and factories remained the same," says junior project manager Christine Toebak. The same team of reliable and experienced experts is ready to install, repair and maintain the elevators.

Elevators with a luxurious look

TK Elevator's elevators are used worldwide. The company is also active nationwide in the Netherlands. For example, eleven Evolution type elevators and two escalators are being delivered to the Beursgallery in Rotterdam. The building that formerly housed Hudson's Bay and V&D is being completely renovated. Michel Hilberink, account manager at TK Elevator, says: "When V&D was there, we fully equipped the building with our TK installations. When it became Hudson's Bay, we upgraded. 

Now the systems have to be replaced because everything has to meet BREAAM requirements. The building will have a modern, luxurious look and our Evolution elevators fit in perfectly with that."

Good value for money

In the south of the country, in Maastricht, Laudy Bouw & Ontwikkeling is currently working on three residential apartment buildings. For them, TK Elevator developed a standard elevator assembled with the client's requirements. "It involves five elevators of the Synergy type, which are good value for money. They are solid elevators that are comfortable and also look nice. With us, customization is possible for every project," Hilberink said.
