Kitservice Nederland not only sells sealant, but teaches professionals how to do sealant work better. That is exactly what Kitservice Nederland is focusing on with its sealant course. With a realistic training environment and specific advice, the course helps companies to perform common sealant work better themselves.
“Our focus is transferring knowledge. And one way we do that is with our sealant course,” explains Nick Hermsen of Kitservice Nederland. “In this course we teach how to seal neatly, safely and permanently in situations you encounter on a daily basis.”
The kit course began from a clear market demand. Eurokit has a lot of work and clients like to do small jobs quickly themselves. “Think of a replaced tile, a sink, or a seam that needs to be resealed quickly. Instead of waiting for an external team, companies now learn how to do this work properly themselves,” Hermsen explains.

The course starts with theory, followed by practice. In the new course room, participants practice in six realistic rooms, including toilets, sinks, drains, manholes, window frames and glass. “There's even a wall with herringbone tiles, so even tricky detail work is covered,” says Mr. K., who is a member of the team.”
Recently, five mechanics from Benitech Kozijnen in Enschede followed the training. According to Hermsen, the reactions are always positive: both less experienced and experienced fitters go home with new insights. “Participants are given the putty spatulas they learn to work with during the course to take home with them, so they can continue practicing on the job. In this way, Kitservice Nederland is growing step by step into the role it envisions: the permanent knowledge partner for the building industry in the Netherlands.”

From adhesive to sealant gun: at Kitservice Nederland you will find everything you need for professional sealant work. The company supplies products it also works with on a daily basis itself: tested and proven in practice. “Kitservice Nederland works with strong brands such as Otto-Chemie, SABA Adhesives and DL Chemicals,” says Hermsen. With these, Kitservice Nederland serves parties that regularly perform sealant work. Think of maintenance companies and freelancers in the construction industry and jobs such as tilers, mechanics, installers or interior builders. “Especially for that target group, the combination of advice and delivery is interesting.”
Companies get help with product selection, application and handling. “Does the sealant threaten to go out of date? Then we exchange it for fresh material. That is sustainable and good for the wallet,” Hermsen said. The team can also provide on-site advice on difficult connections or material choices.
