While Rots Bouw realizes the renewal of the Dulon College in Ede, Floormasters Project furnishing is preparing for the floors of the college. In the period July-December 2023, it will provide 14,500 m2 of floor space with marmoleum, cast floors, coating, walk-in mats and baseboards.
For the execution, Floormasters Project furnishing received a specification from the architect, which includes the drawing work and a color and materials list. Yet this is not the starting point for Floormasters Project furnishing without question. "We first look to see if optimizations are possible," says Demy Schaafsma, owner of Floormasters Project Furnishing. "We investigate whether there are equivalent products at a lower price and check the drawing work. Then we purchase the materials. These come to us in large rolls, which we customize exactly for the project. Planning is also an important part of the process. We have to be sure that at the time of execution there are always enough skilled workers available."
Floormasters Project Furnishing has now been in existence for over twenty years and has extensive experience in small- and large-scale projects. With 14,5000 m2 of floor space, Dulon College is definitely among the latter. Schaafsma: "On these projects we appoint a foreman. This communicates with the contractor and monitors coordination and planning. Experience shows that this works perfectly." Schaafsma also has great confidence in the result. "The architect has chosen a calm color scheme. This creates a neutral look, which will certainly appeal to a broad target group."
