Sleek new construction warehouse along the New Dutch Waterline

The client is king, even when it comes to the storage and transport of goods. To serve clients even better, Schotpoort Connect is investing in the rental of a new storage and transshipment site in Nieuwegein, which should ensure an expansion of services in the central Netherlands.

The facade stands out because of the combination of two shades of gray. The transition is at the level of the polycarbonate light strip on the waterfront.

Commissioned by Garnizoen B.V., Breure & Janssen designers and engineers designed a 1,500 m² building. It was realized in a construction team by contractor Zweersbouw B.V. from Eerbeek. The management or construction supervision was carried out by Versterre van Vijfeyken Advies & Ontwerp. The first pile was driven on April 8 and the warehouse along the Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie was completed at the end of August.
