For the second year in a row, Noodliften.nl has won an FD Gazelle, the prestigious award that Het Financieele Dagblad presents annually to the fastest growing companies in the Netherlands. Noodliften.nl excelled in the Eastern Netherlands category with a place in the top 10 and secured a place in the top 30 at the national award ceremony among all participating companies.A sign that the stairlift specialist has significantly strengthened its position as market leader in the industry and that more and more HOEs and housing associations know how to find Noodliften.nl.
"We are extremely proud to have won this award," said co-owner Maarten van Eck. "We've been working extremely hard for years and it's good to see that the hard work is paying off." The criteria for the FD Gazelles have been tightened considerably in recent years. To qualify for the award, a company must have grown at least 20% in revenue every year for the past three years, finished the last year profitably and be fully financially healthy. Staff growth is also considered. Noodliften.nl grew in every way and presented a revenue growth of a whopping 178%.
Ten years ago, Noodliften.nl was the first in the Netherlands to take the initiative to place temporary stairlifts in the event of elevator failure. "We discovered and marketed this service, making a virtue of necessity," said Van Eck's business partner Pim Houter. The company also developed its own lighting system for in the stair elevators, an additional safety measure that is unique worldwide. With their smart business format, Noodliften.nl is firmly establishing itself in elevator country and constantly expanding its list of partners. To cope with the great growth, the company moved to larger premises in 2019.
Van Eck and Houter see the fact that Noodliften.nl has now won an FD Gazelle for the second year in a row as motivation to grow even further and to take new steps. There are still big plans for the future.
