'Simplicity is our key to Performance'

Tullingh & Partners specializes in metal roof and facade systems and steel sheet-concrete floors. "Moreover, we work closely with suppliers and manufacturers. Based on the building, location and architectural, thermal and acoustic wishes and requirements, we like to select the best fitting products for each project. Here you can think of the well-known interior box constructions with mineral wool and profiled exterior panels, as well as sandwich panels with a foam or rock wool filling. In addition, we are well acquainted with single sheeting such as steel roofing sheets and sheet piling, which are available in many profiles, colors and coatings." 

For those looking for something exclusive, Tullingh & Partners recommends the use of aluminum facade cassettes. As an example, Van Oldenbarneveld mentions the bronze-colored Kingspan Dri-Design Tapered facade cassettes, which not only give the new construction of Hartman Marine Shipbuilding BV in Urk a high-quality appearance, but also perfectly match the expertise and sustainability ambitions of the luxury yacht builder.

In addition to metal facades and roofs, Tullingh & Partners is strong in steel plate concrete floors, which are increasingly used alongside traditional floor systems. Here the profiled steel sheet forms the lost formwork and (partially) flexural reinforcement. By applying additional reinforcement, a cantilevered floor with high fire resistance can be achieved. "Compared to traditional floor systems, steel-plate concrete floors require significantly less concrete," Van Oldenbarneveld knows. "This leads to large weight savings at comparable spans and loads and makes the floors very suitable for transformation, renovation, new construction and expansion projects. Think, for example, of the construction of (multi-storey) parking garages, but also of building topping, for which a wide choice of profiles, profile heights and steel plate thicknesses is available. Based on the structural design as well as the execution, we are happy to select the most suitable floor construction."
