What began as a request for help eventually led to the creation of ProColdstore, a private label of Prodoor. This story had its origin at high-grade meat processor Hems in Oss. When Hems ran into problems with condensation and ice formation, it called on Prodoor's expertise. ProColdstore then realized an indoor optimization and conversion for Hems. A new cold store was created and sustainability was improved with regard to energy consumption. Hems is now expanding its activities again by purchasing an industrial building on the Longobardenweg in Oss. The former meat processing site of Pali Group needed to be completely renovated and Hems again engaged ProColdstore.
Clen Dielen, Operational Manager of Hems, is extremely satisfied with ProColdstore's proactive approach: "ProColdstore is very flexible and very fast in practically solving challenges that others quickly see as problems," he says. Thanks to this approach, Hems now has conditioned rooms that fully meet the strict requirements of the meat processing industry. The cooperation between Hems and ProColdstore has therefore been significantly strengthened and forms a solid basis for now and in the future. Ronnie Schiltmans, owner of Prodoor and initiator of ProColdstore, sums it up aptly: "Many people can build a straightforward new house, but converting an old farmhouse into which nothing fits is still reserved for very few. You have to get excited by the challenge and be able to see before you in this context what needs to be done in order to be solution-oriented and based on expertise, experience and intrinsic drive to get the farm building to be renovated up and running at record speed."
Prodoor is focusing more and more intensively on related work in addition to industrial door solutions in the food industry. This is part of its vision of maximum unburdening. ProColdstore makes it possible for the building owner to renovate without a traditional contractor and insulator. The elimination of more and more unnecessary subcontractors leads to maximum lean working, which shortens the construction time to the maximum at relatively much less cost. The client has a single point of contact and no longer needs to manage progress and quality themselves. With its 'hands on' mentality, ProColdstore takes control of all real estate work on construction adjustments, insulation system construction, floor work, refrigeration installations and electricity supply from the first to the last minute.
