With smart built-in modules for switching, dimming, and blind control, Homematic IP offers installers a practical solution that preserves the existing design. Thanks to specially developed adapters for brand-name switches, existing switch series can easily be retained, even during renovations or upgrades.
When used with the adapter for brand-name switches, Homematic IP actuators can be seamlessly integrated into standard switch series from Gira, Jung, and Busch-Jäger. All three modules are designed for quick installation in standard flush-mount boxes. Thanks to screwless terminals and a wiring method similar to that of conventional switches, installation is simple. Only one neutral wire is required. The adapter is screwed onto the actuator, after which the existing rocker switch and cover frame can be easily reattached.
With the Homematic IP dimmer for brand-name switches, you can easily adjust the lighting to create the desired atmosphere. From LED to halogen: the phase-cut dimmer works with many common light sources. The dimming level can be precisely adjusted via the app and automatically adapted based on sunrise, schedules, or presence simulation.
With the Homematic IP blind actuator for brand-name switches, you can control your blinds, roller shutters, or awnings exactly the way you want. Thanks to automatic schedules, adjustable slat positions, and weather-dependent functions, you can enhance your living comfort while protecting your home’s interior from overheating and prying eyes.
Switch, dimmer, and blind actuators are part of Homematic IP’s extensive lighting and sun protection product line.
