If you consciously choose the strength of wood, you end up with an oak frame. WEBO has had the opportunity to apply this strength to a few beautiful projects, are you watching with us?
The Oak Frame®, aka the designers' choice. The frame is known for its robustness and aesthetics. Oak provides a warm, attractive look both on the inside and outside due to its transparent finish. In addition, the Oak Frame® is made from native wood, which reduces CO2 emissions.
At WEBO, we have designed the Oak Frame® to be widely applicable. Whether the dimensions are large or small, the wood can be applied to frames and doors. This circular window frame from WEBO has proven itself in several projects, including the Gare Maritime in Brussels and Town Hall Quarter in Deventer.
One of the projects in which WEBO was allowed to apply its Oak Frame® is the imposing Gare Martime. With an area of 45,000m2, this is the largest timber construction project in Europe. Two years of intensive cooperation with contractors and architects, 2400 oak frames and 75000 linear meters of timber. Truly a great challenge that we will look back on with pride for a long time to come. And the end result is worth it!
Another special project, but in the Netherlands. The Town Hall Quarter in Deventer, a combination of both renovation and new construction project. With a total surface area of 24,000m2, this is one of the most sustainable government buildings in the Netherlands. In Deventer, WEBO was able to supply 6,000 oak window frames in all sorts and sizes.
Among other things, the Town Hall Quarter is designed with 2,300 fingerprints of municipal residents, each of these prints framed with WEBO's Oak Frame®. A unique building, especially for Deventer!
