Floors for Campus300 laid layer by layer in a controlled manner

On the construction site at the Onderwijsboulevard in Den Bosch, things are a little different from an average project. With its size, complexity and high quality standards, the Campus300 project perfectly matches the expertise of Brugmans Group. The Veghel family business is responsible for the screeds, and in the education building also for various floor finishes.

Complete floor construction and finishing

The Campus300 project consists of two parts: the new building of Avans and the student housing of BrabantWonen. In the education building, Brugmans Group is providing both the screeds and the floor finishes. In the residences, the focus is mainly on the screeds. "The diversity makes the work interesting and challenging," says project manager Martijn Nooijen. "We not only deliver custom work, but also pay a lot of attention to details, such as accommodating height differences in the finishes."

Success through preparation and cooperation 

At Brugmans Group, success begins with good preparation. Work plans are drawn up for each product, logistical plans are worked out and safety measures are coordinated in advance with the main contractor. From the first moment of contact, Brugmans Group actively seeks cooperation with all parties involved. "Our approach ensures transparency and keeps the work orderly," says Van Alphen. Even during execution, coordination between the two parties remains tight. "I check every floor, together with the execution teams and the contractor," says Nooijen. "We check everything carefully. That's what you want, especially on a project of this size."

What makes this project special for Brugmans Group is the high-level cooperation. "For me, this is the first project of this magnitude," says Nooijen. "And I like it. People are critical, but that's precisely what keeps you on your toes. The high level really makes this a special project." Van Alphen is also satisfied: "The communication is businesslike, but always pleasant. Everyone keeps an overview and if something comes up, we enter into a discussion and solve it together. That's exactly how we like it."
