Start of sales Berckelbosch Eindhoven - Strauss subplan

The sale of subplan Strauss located in the Berckelbosch garden district in Eindhoven started Wednesday, May 29. The plan includes 37 energy-neutral, Zero-Meter (NOM) and gas-free town, semi-detached and detached houses in a green and spacious environment.

Berckelbosch
In Berckelbosch, Ballast Nedam Development will build approximately 400 more energy-neutral and NOM homes in the coming years. The Berckelbosch neighborhood is characterized, among other things, by its spacious and green urban layout and warm 1930s architecture. Berckelbosch is urban located near the Eindhoven city ring, daily amenities are within walking distance.

Architecture
The high-profile 1930s design was drawn by Luijten Smeulders Architects of Tilburg. The typical 1930s architecture is characterized by extra deep overhangs of the roof and gutters, steep roofs, luxurious detailing, the use of color and materials and the varying roof orientations.

Many housing types
Varying dimensions in width and depth of the row and corner create a broad palette of housing variants. The clever positioning of the two different facade variants of the detached and semi-detached houses creates a varied streetscape. In addition, you can choose from two different basic floor plans and the home can be completely customized through the extras and upgrades. The front gardens are landscaped with hedges and the transitions from public to private property consist of carefully designed fencing.

Sustainability, Health and Biodiversity
Ballast Nedam Development attaches great importance to sustainability, health and biodiversity. For example, the homes are at least energy-neutral and therefore very energy efficient. Moreover, almost every housing variant has also been designed as a Zero-Meter (NOM) home. In an NOM home, as much energy is generated (standardized) as is consumed. In addition to low energy costs, this also offers the advantage of additional financing. The Pure Air ventilation concept can also be chosen. Pure Air ensures clean indoor air. It filters fine dust and regulates optimal air humidity, thus promoting the health of residents.

It also promotes biodiversity in the neighborhood. Together with Vogelbescherming Nederland and Zoogdiervereniging, it was decided to include built-in bricks for birds and bats in the homes. Together with the green design of the lots and the preservation of mature public greenery, this contributes to the preservation and enhancement of biodiversity in the city.
