RDS Electronics, which is at home in many markets, is changing its name. 'RDS' remains, but with the new name 'RDS Weighing & Safety', it will from now on be immediately clear that it guarantees weighing and safety solutions. With Jurgen Gheeraert at its head for 11 years, RDS was bursting at the seams. After the move from Poperinge to Harelbeke, RDS continued to grow into a renowned company with a close-knit team of 22 people, including 3 on the Dutch market. But RDS also continued to grow in terms of products. For example, it currently has 221 anti-bot systems for rent. In addition to these systems, RDS has safety solutions, weighing and vision systems in its range.
Starting from this point of view, RDS wishes to remain the expert in weighing but especially in safety solutions. In addition to making construction, transport and numerous other sectors safer, RDS aims for exclusivity. Thus, it is the exclusive distributor of AMCS, Golstein, Orlaco and Topcon weighing systems, among others. At the request of customers, RDS continues to search for the appropriate and professional solution to guarantee them the correct weighing systems and safety.
With the name change, RDS Weighing & Safety is stepping into a more distinct future. A future in which it would like to remain the specialist in weighing. In Belgium, but especially also in the Netherlands. It also considers being a reliable partner of paramount importance.
