Family business delivers rock-solid results

Family business Tasche of Albergen consists of three divisions: Steel Construction, Steel Stairs and Agricultural Mechanization. At apartment complex 't Quadrant, the first two parts worked together with Van Norel Bouwgroep to realize all steel parts, including the entire steel structure.

't Quadrant consists of a steel structure with steel galleries, glass balustrades, interior railings, steel stairs and steel banisters. So a lot of work for Tasche Steel Construction and Tasche Steel Stairs. "There was little space to get the railings upstairs and we couldn't assemble from the outside. So we brought everything up with a mini crane and assembled it from the inside," says Robert Zegger, company manager at Tasche Steel Stairs. His colleague Tom Oude Voshaar, project manager at Tasche Steel Construction, complements him: "We delivered the steel powder coated and partially assembled in several stages. With apartments, you have to deal with many facets to take into account, such as suppliers of balconies, wide plates, different types of treatments. That made the project complex."

Van Norel Bouwgroep is a well-known client for Tasche, so there was good cooperation. The project took a long time from engineering to completion, yet everything was delivered and assembled completely on time. Zegger: "The balustrades came in at the end of the construction phase. Everything was powder coated and color-matched beforehand. No further work was allowed after that that could damage the products. Meanwhile, the apartment complex has been completed and the first people are already living in it."
