As one of Hercuton's regular installers, Van Rennes Elektro- en Installatietechniek provides the electrical and mechanical installations of DC Fazantweg in Moerdijk. The all-round installation company is responsible for the engineering, delivery and assembly of the installations.
Edwin Verschoor, sales manager at Van Rennes, was involved in the project as early as the tender phase. He explains, "Together with Hercuton, we looked at the smartest way to fulfill the client's wishes. After the contract was awarded, an extensive engineering process followed, in which we worked out the installations in detail."
On the electrical side, Van Rennes provides the transformer, with a capacity of 630 kVA. From there, the installer brings the power to the main distribution box in the building, and beyond. "Down to the last sockets and lights," Verschoor said. "Furthermore, we install everything in terms of heating, cooling and plumbing. For example, we provide the office with an energy-efficient VRF system combined with underfloor heating, for heating and cooling the various rooms."
The work is running smoothly, which Verschoor says is mainly due to good preparation. "That's half the battle," he explains. "The effort we put into the preliminary process with Hercuton is now paying off. We go into the delivery with confidence."
