AGC receives Cradle to Cradle CertifiedTM Silver certification for fire-resistant glass

2010 was the year AGC Glass Europe was awarded Cradle-to-Cradle certification for the first time^[1]. To this day, AGC continues to demonstrate its commitment to improving the environmental performance of its products with the award of Cradle to Cradle Certified^TM Silver for its fire-resistant glass Pyrobel and Pyrobelite^[2].

By being awarded the Cradle-to-Cradle Silver certification for fire-resistant glass products, AGC continues its commitment to sustainable glass products. The overall certification level for the Pyrobel and Pyrobelite range is Silver, while Gold level has been achieved for four of the five categories: Reuse of Materials, Sustainable Water Management, Renewable Energy and CO₂-management and social aspects.

Today, AGC offers the most comprehensive portfolio of C2C certified glass products with bronze, silver and gold status^[3].
